LOVE (FOR PHOTOGRAPHY) IN THE TIME OF COVID: CHAPTER II - VAL ATKINSON

We keep noticing a strong interest in the topic, which both pleases us and makes us continue in this publishing line. Therefore, in today's newsletter, we bring for your consideration and joy an exceptional man, a traveler if ever there was one, with several world tours in his bags, a cultivated and sensitive spirit, and an excellent mate as well.

What else can be said about Val Atkinson and his extraordinary art? He left his mark and continues to do so throughout his life as an artist and a globetrotter. His work and vision turned out to be one of the cornerstones of all this particular esthetic that travel and fly fishing possess with their particular atmosphere that mixes tradition, culture, and the most stunning and remote landscapes where it is practiced.

As if that weren't enough, Val can genuinely keep his interlocutors amused while he ceaselessly searches for that "moment" for a perfect photograph ... another one made with the same passion as usual. Having him sitting at the table for more than 5 minutes at a time is a bit "difficult" because he will have moved surreptitiously to capture the "soul" of that talk... once it is over, he will sit down and continue to share as if nothing had happened.

He is the author of several books, and his photographs are displayed everywhere with his distinctive flair.
